Ginger Jars – Elegant Home Décor Trend for 2020
Ginger jars are enjoying a comeback. They’ve never gone out of style entirely as they are such an elegant item. But, they are on the upswing in popular décor items for the stylish home.
Here are just a few of the ginger jars pictured here, and also many that are similar and favorites of mine. Especially the William Sonoma Schumacher!!!

Coffee Table Books – Home Décor Trend for 2020
When I have a free moment, I love perusing my oversized coffee table books. They always have fantastic photography and provide endless inspiration.

Scented Candles
Beautiful aroma candles in elegant containers are wonderful home décor items. They not only add beauty for the eye with their wide array of gorgeous containers, they are also utilitarian providing a pleasing aroma for your home.
Below are some of my favorite home scents at several price points.
Faux Pillar Candles
Also found in abundance are the faux pillar candles of varying sizes. These provide ambiance around the home after the sun goes down. They are also a safe alternative when real candles can’t be burned.
Elegant Candlesticks
Detailed vintage candlesticks are a favorite home décor item of my own. If they are acrylic and brass I can’t resist them.
There are also some amazing new candlesticks out there as well. You can find an attractive pair of these versatile home decor items at most price points.

Pagodas or Lanterns Home Décor Trends for 2020
Pagodas
Although a definite must in a Chinoiserie style home, Pagodas are making their way into other design styles as well. Be forewarned, however, they are not easy to find. So, don’t hesitate to purchase one when you see it.
You know these pagoda’s are hard to find! They go fast.
Lanterns
Lanterns exploded onto the home décor scene a few years ago, and refuse to go away (thankfully). They are a charming addition to any style and quite versatile. We can use them both indoors and outdoors. (I styled this one for Christmas a few years back.)

China Plates Home Décor Trends for 2020
You may not aspire to fill an entire dining room wall with China plates, like your’s truly. But, they are a simple way to add tradition and color to any space. They can be hung on the wall, or displayed on an easel.

Avoiding the word obsession for obvious reasons, we’ll just say decorative trays grab my eye anytime I’m in the marketplace. They are so useful, I suppose you could have too many. Wonder how many are too many?
