This post delivers simple ways to update your home for fall.
And here we are nearing the end of another summer.
September is days away and most of us are reluctantly deciding to at least think about the inevitable arrival of fall. Without fail a debate is sparked.
What month do you start decorating for fall?
My answer to that is likely earlier than most. Believe it or not, if I were not writing a blog, or posting ideas on IG and Pinterest, I would likely wait until the leaves were turning to decorate for fall. For that matter, the snow would be falling before I’d make the decorating transition for that next season. But, here we are.
Wherever you land on that decorating spectrum, I’m here to help ease you into the idea with:

Autumn Decor for the Guest Room
The guest room fall decorating formula will seem familiar to you. It’s a repeat of what was done in the living room. Change the pillows, throws, add fall decor pieces, and in place of tortoise shell motif the guest room got a dash of cheetah print.

How do I add fall décor to my house?
Adding those fall décor touches is simple. Here’s a quick recap and a couple of additional fall decorating ideas thrown in for good measure:
- Change out throw pillows
- Add cozy throws
- Bring warm layers to the bed
