This post will help you Decorate an Entry Way Table for Fall.

Hello Autumn.

I see you!

The tips of the trees are starting to show off, and we are here for it!

This week I tackled the entry way. It’s a small footprint overall, but with soaring 3-story ceilings and a very fancy chandelier that I picked out almost 25 years ago, it packs a feisty punch! This year, I created a mercury glass pumpkin vine on the one piece of furniture that resides in the parlor!

List of Items

  • mercury glass pumpkin (or any pumpkins on hand)

  • squirrel – definitely faux
  • candles

Mercury Glass Pumpkin Patch

For the past five years, I’ve picked up a mercury glass pumpkin or two each fall. We have two glass pumpkin patches in our home this fall, one in the kitchen window, and the other here in the parlor to welcome guest (or at least welcome our family). Of course, you could use any type of pumpkin you own. Even the tiny 3 for a $1 pumpkins from dollar tree or from the grocery store would create a similar fun look.

Fall Foliage

Whether you painstakingly build a beautiful fall centerpiece, or scatter a few leaves, berries, and sticks, you can create a fall feel all your own. The centerpiece on the entry way is 6 hydrangea stems, 2 berry stems, and a couple of stems of eucalyptus.

I created this centerpiece in my Antique Chinoiserie Ginger Jar. They are so hard to source, but I found a couple. These are found one at a time, so I apologize if it’s gone by the time you take a look!!

Fall Woodland Animal – Squirrel

What? You don’t have a bright pink squirrel, or a colorful pheasant? Not to worry. Neither did I until I grabbed the brown fella by the furry tale and spray painted him, and tied on a cheetah scarf.

Replace the Candles with Fall Color Tapers

I realize not everyone has wall sconces, but he concept works for candlesticks, or even scented candles. Replicate colors from the foliage you choose.
